If something goes wrong
Didn't turn up? Work not as agreed? Report the job and our team reviews it. We can remove tradies who break the rules, and reviews stay on a profile so the next customer sees the full picture. Support is available in English and Tok Pisin.

Yes. Posting a job and receiving offers is free, and we don't add a booking fee. You only pay the tradie you choose, at the price you agree together.
Once you accept an offer. Until then your number stays private, so posting a job doesn't mean your phone starts ringing.
Before sending any offer, a tradie completes an ID check and confirms their mobile number. Trades that need a licence have it sighted before the badge appears.
We're live in Port Moresby, Lae and Mt Hagen, and adding new areas across PNG. Set your location when you post and we'll match you with tradies nearby.
You arrange payment directly with your tradie. Always confirm the scope and cost before the work starts, and keep it in writing in your messages.
Message them first — plans change. If you can't reach them, report the job and we'll follow up. Repeated no-shows cost a tradie their place on TaskPNG.
Yes. Reviews can only be left on jobs arranged through TaskPNG, and we don't remove one just because a tradie disagrees. They can reply publicly instead.

What if a customer doesn't pay?
Agree the price and payment method in writing before you start, and report anyone who doesn't follow through. We act on repeat offenders.
Do I need a licence?
Only for trades that legally require one, like electrical work. If you have one, show it — licensed profiles get a badge customers look for.
What if I get a bad review?
It stays on your profile, and you can reply publicly. One honest review among good ones rarely costs you work — no reviews at all does.
